Introduction

Instead of making customers waste time on searching your products again and again, it is more clever when you do it for them. Magento Product Slider extension allows showing your featured, hot products or on sale products on the frontend such as Home page, Category page, etc.

How to use Product Slider

By installing Product Slider module, the approach to clients of your products is easier when the new and on-sale ones are always in customer’s sight. This is the great promotion way to boost your sales!

How to configure Product Slider

Product Label

The product label is flexibly customized by store admin, including label name, background color and text color while there is the unlimited color to apply.

Product Slider

To generate a product slider, the required information are name and store view.

In addition, admin can choose the certain display position from the Display on field.

And then, all clients can get as much as information about each product on the slider such as product’s name, review, price, rating, so on, that depends on your configuration.

Display product slider in Frontend

There are 10 positions that you can display product slider in frontend. We have tested on Magento default 1.6.x-1.8.x and rwd 1.9.x . However, there are some themes/templates which is not compatible with so you can implement the snippet in next step.

Implement code

In Implement code tab, you can see 4 types of code that you can insert to phtml files, CMS pages, XML layout or category pages.

In this guide, I will show you how to display it in home page.

Go to CMS > Pages > Homepage (this CMS page depends on defined in configuration) > Content tab
