How to configure

Auto Setup SEO Basic: If yes, Better SEO will configure your Magento store better for SEO.
Add Canonical URL meta: Avoid duplicate content with different URL in your websites, domains.

Add Nofollow meta in Search Result: Do not allow Search engines index search results.
Add Nofollow meta in Product Gallery: Do not allow Search engines index Product gallery
Add Link Rel="alternate": all Link rel alternate tag to meta. This is good if you are using Multistores.

.htaccess editor

You can edit .htaccess file directly in backend without open FTP, SFTP or SSH.

Remember, test this carefully before click Quick Save!

Download tested .htaccess file for Magento

Set Nofollow, Noindex Category

Go to Catalog > Category > Select a Category > General Information

You can see the following Meta Robots option:

When finish, click Save Category

Set Meta robots for Product

Catalog > Product > Select a Product > Meta Information > Meta Robots

When finish, click Save

Set Meta robots for CMS Page

CMS > Page > Select a Page > Meta Information > Meta Robots

When finish, click Save
